Curling Rink (3sheets)

Choiceland is not only noted for its curling enthusiasm but for the ability of its curlers and the new, three-sheet rink of artificial ice which is used by young and old from October to April.

Figure Skating & Ringette

Choiceland can also boast of a skating arena where there are many winter activities . There are teams from 8 and under to 40 and over. Figure Skating and Ringette are also offered at the arena.

Ski Resort (90 metre down hill)
Recreational facilities also include a 90-metre high down-hill ski resort which has a T-bar with a length of 610 meters which runs from .8 – 1.6 km in length. The resort is located 25 km. South of Choiceland, on the south side of the Saskatchewan River. The Choiceland-Gronlid Committee, which includes many other towns and villages, established the area under Regional park Status. With the addition of a snow maker in 1994, the season has now been extended.

Cross-Country Skiing
Cross-country skiing is also very popular with young and old in this area and it is offered as a recreational program through the school system.

5 Baseball Diamonds 

For the avid ball player there are hard and softball teams which one may join.

Paddling Pool
There also is a paddling pool, which the younger set enjoys through the summer months.

Campgrounds 12 stalls
A new campground park (located 2 miles south of Choiceland on Highway #6) has also been developed. The Town has several active groups and clubs.

Senior Community Hall
An active Senior Citizen’s organization meets once a week and provides activities and/or use of the hall on close to a daily basis. At the Recreation Centre located at the Senior’s Housing area, residents often are found visiting and enjoying cards or a board game.

Bible Camp
Located 6 miles Southeast of Choiceland is Torch Trail Bible Camp. This camp is equipted with a full-size swimmimg pool which is also made available to the general public.During the month of June, the school incorporates swimming into its educational program and also utilizes the camp facilities.
